The site is available for hire by voluntary groups and educational establishments who work with children and young adults. It is regularly used by Girlguiding, Scouting, and Schools who wish to provide their own programme of activities. Full use can be made of the varied surroundings to enjoy the out of doors and for field work elements of some National Curriculum subjects e.g. geography. There are providers of adventurous activities nearby.
This is a low cost, hostel style, self catering centre, run by volunteers. It offers centrally heated accommodation in three units of different sizes, each with space for cooking, eating, and recreation. (Catering can be provided by arrangement). The Centre is in the village of Parkmill situated in a Gower valley. It has a large flat lawn and tarmac area and has secure boundaries. It is surrounded by superb wooded countryside, is only about one mile from the sea and within walking distance of Pobbles Beach and Three Cliffs Bay. Swansea City with its Welsh Market, Quadrant Shopping Centre, Museums, and Leisure Centre, is only eight miles away; a half-hour journey by bus.
